EFFoST Student of the Year Award 2013, Sponsored by Cargill

Make a poster of your final thesis, submit your abstract and join us at the 2013 EFFoST Annual Meeting from 13 till 15 November 2013 in Bologna, Italy.

The shortlisted nominees will have free access to the conference, including hotel and travel costs, and in addition the final winners will receive a visit to Cargill’s European Research & Development Centre in Belgium where students will have an opportunity to interact with Cargill technologists and scientists.

The competition is open for all Food Technology/Food Science students in Europe – undergrads and PhD. Submission deadline is: 30th July 2013.

In 2013, the focus of the EFFoST Annual meeting is to connect the intergrated and the specialized views on food to promote health, food security and sustainability for all. The meeting will provide a significant opportunity for you to join leaders from industry and academia to debate these new challenges and to present your work as a poster or oral presentation.

PhD:

1st prize: 1500 Euro

2nd prize: 750 Euro

3rd prize: 500 Euro

BSc/MSc:

1st prize: 1000 Euro

2nd prize: 500 Euro

3rd prize: 250 Euro
