Further to the resounding success of the Central European congresses on Food (CEFood) held previously in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2002), Budapest, Hungary (2004), Sofia, Bulgaria (2006), Cavtat, Croatia (2008) and Bratislava, Slovakia (2010) and in the eve of the forthcoming 6th Central European Congress on Food, which will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia on 23-26 May 2012, the CEFood Task Team at European Federation of Food Science and technology (EFFoST) has the pleasure to announce a
Public Call for Organisers
in order to select the hosting country and organiser of the next 7th Central European Congress on Food to be held in 2014 (CEFood 2014). The best candidate will be determined based on transparant selection rules as described in the document "Procedure for Deciding the Country of CEFood Congress Organisation"
All interested parties (e.g. national food federation, governmental and non-governmental organisations, educational and research intitutions, etc) from eligible countries are invited and encouraged to apply for hosting CEFood 2014.
as soon as possible but no later than 1 May 2012
The selected organiser of CEFood 2014 will be expected to attend the CEFood 2012 in Novi Sad, whose closing ceremony will officially announce the venue, the dates and the organiser of CEFood 2014.
In case of several applications from one and the same country, the candidates may be requested to elaborate and submit a consolidated application.
