Memberships are per year and exclusive 19% VAT.
Sponsorships are for 5 years exclusive 19% VAT.
All memberships are extended automatically, unless written cancellation has been received before 1 December of the previous calendar year.

□ Professional member €50 annual, Ex 19% VAT
|
Professionals working in organizations (companies, institutes, associations, etc.) are eligible as Individual Members.
Individual Membership offers a number of benefits:

□ Student member €70 annual, Ex 19% VAT
|
· Students at a European University can become a Student Member of EFFoST.
· Students do not need to have a European nationality.
· Student Members will receive free copies of EFFoST affiliated food science and food safety related magazines.
· 12 issues of the journal Trends in Food Science & Technology
· Free and unlimited subscriptions to current and past issues of the journal
· One year after graduation, Student Membership will automatically be converted to professional Membership.
· There will, however, be a notification in advance and membership may be cancelled without further obligation.
· Please include proof of studentship (BSc, MSc, PhD)

□ Student member (No Fee)
|
· Students at a European University can become a Student Member of EFFoST.
· Students do not need to have a European nationality.
· Student Members will receive free copies of EFFoST affiliated food science and food safety related magazines.
· One year after graduation, Student Membership will automatically be converted to professional Membership.
· There will, however, be a notification in advance and membership may be cancelled without further obligation.

□ Society member/Adhering body (Free)
|
An organization of which the members are individual scientists in the fields of food science, engineering, or technology can apply for EFFoST Society Membership. Because EFFoST is the European Group of IUFoST, organizations that are a member of (an Adhering Body) of IUFoST are automatically a Society Member of EFFoST. Society members are restricted to Europe.
· EFFoST will announce events, organized by Society Members on the EFFoST website and in the newsletter.
· Upon request, EFFoST will consider support of events organized by Society Members, details subject to mutual agreement.
· Society Members are requested to place the EFFoST logo and link on their website, to inform their members about EFFoST events and relevant EFFoST activities.
· In particular, Society Members are requested to inform their members of the possibility of Individual Membership of EFFoST.
· Society Members may be invited to co-organize EFFoST events, in particular when these events take place in their country or region.
Society Members do not pay a membership fee.

□ University Member (Free)
This is only for university/faculty application, NOT for individual memberships
|
Any university Department, Faculty or Educational programme in the field food science, food engineering, food technology or similar, can apply for EFFoST University Membership. Any institute of higher education (BSc, MSc or PhD level) is considered University according to EFFoST. University members are restricted to Europe.
· The EFFoST website will show the university/departmental logo and a link to the website of the university/department.
· EFFoST will announce events, organized by the University Members on the EFFoST website andother media used (Facebook/linkedin)
· Upon request, EFFoST will consider support of events organized by University Members, details subject to mutual agreement.
· University Members are requested to place the EFFoST logo and link on their website, to inform their staff and students about EFFoST events and relevant EFFoST activities.
· In particular, University Members are requested to inform their members of the possibility of Student Membership of EFFoST, the Student of the Year awards (BSc/MSc and PhD)
· University Members may be invited to co-organize EFFoST events, in particular when these events take place in their country or region.
· University membership is only for universities/faculties, not for employees of universities/faculties, they have to apply for professional membership
Universities/faculties do not pay a membership fee.

□ Bronze Sponsor €2.500 per year + 19% VAT
|
· For Bronze sponsor. EFFoST will feature the company name and/or logo of the Bronze sponsor on the EFFoST website and provide a link to the company's website (if applicable).
· Bronze sponsors will receive the EFFoST Newsletter and free subscriptions to EFFoST affiliated Food magazines.

□ Silver Sponsor€ 5.000 per year + 19% VAT

· For Silver sponsor. EFFoST will feature the company name and/or logo of the Silver sponsor on the EFFoST website and provide a link to the company's website (if applicable).
· Silver sponsor has free admission of one staff member to the EFFoST Annual Conference.
· Silver sponsors may also post one advertisement of 10x10 cm in the newsletter of EFFoST.

· For Gold sponsor. EFFoST will feature the company name and/or logo of the Gold sponsor on the EFFoST website and provide a link to the company's website (if applicable).
· Gold sponsor has free admission of one staff member to the EFFoST Annual Conference.
· Gold sponsors may also post one advertisement of 10x10 cm in the newsletter of EFFoST.
· Additional benefits are negotiable, but Sponsors do NOT have a right to influence scientific programmes of EFFoSTevents.
