“Sunflower Oil Production, Quality and Applications” is an international conference organized by the International Sunflower Oil Association in collaboration with the Trakya University, Edirne Turkey. The conference will be held at the Balkan Congress Center,  in Edirne, Turkey on 5 September 2018.

This conference is a premier international science, technology and business forum focusing on sunflower oil. However, a general session will also highlight other vegetable oils. The program will include a plenary session on sunflower oil markets, economics and the policies and regulations governing sunflower oil trade. The technical sessions will highlight invited and volunteer oral presentations. The best oral and poster presentations by the participants from academia including students will be awarded in three categories, 1) oil quality, 2) oil processing and applications, and 3) crop production. The students are strongly encouraged to submit an application for the student poster award. Three student posters will be selected to receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place monetary awards and a certificate during the conference.
