EFFoST President, Professor Dolores O’Riordan, Inducted as a Fellow of IAFoST

We are delighted to announce that Professor Dolores O’Riordan, President of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST), has been inducted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IAFoST).

This prestigious recognition celebrates her exceptional contributions to the field of food science and technology.

The International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IAFoST) is an elected body of distinguished food scientists, technologists, and engineers from around the world. IAFoST Fellows are recognized for their significant scientific and professional achievements. They uphold high standards of ethics and scientific excellence, and provide independent, non-aligned expertise on matters related to food science and technology. The Academy serves as a key source of scientific knowledge and advice for global food science initiatives through the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST).

New Fellows are inducted during the World Food Congress, and we are proud to see Professor O’Riordan join the ranks of other esteemed (current and former) EFFoST Board Members. This includes Lilia Ahrne, Olga Martin-Belloso, and Huub Lelieveld, who have also been honored as Fellows of the Academy.

We congratulate Professor O’Riordan on this remarkable achievement and extend our appreciation for her continued leadership and contributions to the advancement of food science and technology.
