The European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) facilitates the knowledge and technology exchange among food professionals. EFFoST creates opportunities for food scientists, engineers, technologists, policymakers, and businesses in food and food-related areas to connect and collaborate to enhance the uptake of new technologies and developments. By supporting the further development of food science and technology, EFFoST aims to advance the production of sustainable and healthy food for all in a changing world.
To achieve this, EFFoST builds and sustains a European network for knowledge transfer, leveraging its community of food science and technology professionals. This is accomplished through The EFFoST Annual Conference, the EFFoST Scientific Society, and our Working Groups. Furthermore, EFFoST participates in food-related EU-funded projects, taking responsibility for disseminating knowledge, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the effective exploitation of results. These projects span a wide range of topics, from developing advanced technologies to creating societal impact by supporting innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises.
We are looking for a Communications Intern. A passionate (foodie) marketing and communications student who will be required to divide their time between EU-funded projects and EFFoST activities. As part of a team of 8 people working at different levels on each project, you will operate in a dynamic international environment and have significant opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience in EU projects, event planning, and working at a non-profit organization. You like to work on multi-disciplinary projects and are eager to learn the ins and outs of the food science and technology world.
