EFFoST works closely with other food related European organizations such as ILSI Europe, EUFIC, the National Food Technology Platforms and GHI to support collaboration in public-private partnerships, consumer benefits, transparency and dissemination of knowledge in order to tackle societal and scientific challenges.
The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) communicates science-based information on nutrition and health, food safety and quality, to help consumers to be better informed when choosing a well-balanced, safe and healthful diet.
The Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI) is the international non-profit network of individual scientists and scientific organizations working together to promote harmonization of global food safety regulations and legislation.

The National Food Technology Platforms is an agro-industrial network born in 2007 with the European Technology Platform ‘Food For Life’ and based on the national institutions engaged on research, development and innovation on food, promoted by the national federations of the Food and Drink Industry.
