INRA, IRSTEA and IFPEN are organizing a European workshop on the bioeconomy in Paris on October 29 and 30, 2019. This symposium will bring together public and private research stakeholders engaged in the bioeconomy to share their visions, approaches and experiences.

The following topics will be discussed at the European Bioeconomy workshop:

• Sustainable production of bio resources: an environmental challenge
• Bioengineering serving the innovative bioeconomy
• Citizen involvement in bioeconomy strategies: understanding their perceptions and motivations to facilitate the transition
