Teagasc seeks applications from experienced researchers (with PhD or four years full-time research experience) in combination with host organisations worldwide (research, industry or civil society organisations). Fellowships will have a duration of 36 months; 18 months outside of Ireland, followed by a “return phase” to Teagasc, Ireland for 18 months. Applicants are free to choose the research topic, outgoing host organisation and the Teagasc supervisor for the return phase. Applicants will also have the option to undertake a secondment in the non-academic sector. Annual gross salary will be €51,717 or €56,306 (depending on family circumstances). Research expenses will also be available. Career development of the fellows will be a strong focus of the programme as will a commitment to equal opportunities for both genders.
