Over the past four years, FOX aimed to stimulate short supply chains for fruit and vegetables by applying small innovative mild processing technologies. 

The agenda of the event is currently set up but for now you can sign up for the #FOXfoodinabox Final Conference to get insights into mild processing technologies, such as low-temperature drying and mild preservation techniques.

The conference will take place in 2 venues: 

·        In the morning (AM) at the Brussels Food Bank Brabant (Rue de Meudon 60, 1120 Brussels) 

During this session, attendeed will be able to participate in an engaging experience that includes: a) a demonstration of FOX mobile unit for innovative local processing, b) a guided tour of the Food Bank facilities, and c) insight into the collaborative efforts of the ZEROW project and FOX

·        In the afternoon (PM) at the Atelier des Tanneurs (Rue des Tanneurs 60A, 1000 Brussels) 

During this session, keynote speakers will provide us with an overview of the importance of local food production and how food processing technologies can lead to more sustainable food systems. FOX partners will share valuable insights and key project outputs, discuss future implications and provide recommendations. The session will conclude with a panel discussion involving policy, industry, farmers/producers, and consumer representatives.
