Open call for the CEFood Congress Organizer in 2020

The Central European Congress on Food (CEFood) is an outstanding congress that deals with all the burning issues of Food, Technology, Nutrition and Health professions with evidence-based discussions. CEFOOD is held once every two years and is welcoming bids to organise the CEFOOD Congress 2020.

The CEFood Congress is organised under the umbrella of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST), as agreed by the previous CEFood Congress organisers. The previous CEFOOD Congresses were held in: Ljubljana, Slovenia (2002); Budapest, Hungary (2004); Sofia, Bulgaria (2006); Cavtat, Croatia (2008); Bratislava, Slovakia (2010); Novi Sad, Serbia (2012), Ohrid, Macedonia (2014), Kiev, Ukraine (2016). The next Congress will be held in Sibiu, Romania, from 23 to 26 of May 2018. 


CEFOOD welcomes all countries belonging to the Central European Initiative and other (neighbouring)countries to submit a bid to organise the next CEFOOD Congress in 2020.


Organisations that would like to be considered as a host of the CEFood Congress, have to complete and submit an Expression of Interest, at least two years before the Congress year. The deadline for the document submission is 1 May 2018.
