Biography
Lukas founded Planted together with Pascal, Eric and Chris - driven to have a positive impact on the climate and on animals and to improve the resilience of food value chains. He studied Food Science at ETH Zürich and at the University of Melbourne and holds a Masters’ Degree in Food Process Engineering and a PhD in Food Science. Lukas is an expert in food and process design, focusing on sustainable foods. At Planted he is responsible for the areas Science, Manufacturing, Q&A, and Engineering. He is a passionate hiker, skateboarder, wine taster and food designer, is married and lives in Zürich with his wife and two kids.
